HyperStrong Expands European Footprint with Energy Storage Projects Across 15 Countries

As the global energy transition accelerates, HyperStrong continues to strengthen its presence across Europe. Leveraging its strong system integration capabilities and extensive project delivery experience, the company has achieved a series of key milestones in the European energy storage market.

From the Baltic coast to the Danube corridor, and from Germany’s industrial heartland to emerging markets across Central and Eastern Europe, HyperStrong has secured multiple strategic projects. Its European footprint now spans 15 countries, supporting the development of a greener and more resilient energy system through advanced storage technologies and comprehensive lifecycle services.

Germany: Deepening Strategic Partnerships with Full-Stack Capabilities

In Germany, HyperStrong continues to deepen collaboration with local partners. Following the successful commissioning of the Waltershausen energy storage project, the company has signed a new contract with the same client for a 40 MWh grid-side energy storage project in Wertheim, reinforcing the long-term partnership.

HyperStrong has also secured the 40 MWh Phase II Göhlsdorf energy storage project, providing a full suite of core BESS equipment along with 15 years of lifecycle operation and maintenance services. The PV plus storage project is designed to alleviate grid pressure while improving the economic performance of the power plant.

Through its strong system integration expertise and localized service capabilities, HyperStrong has earned the trust and recognition of German DSO clients and project partners.

Previously, HyperStrong also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with LEAG for a large-scale energy storage project totaling up to 1.6 GWh, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion into large-scale projects in Europe and globally.

Baltic Region:  Now Present Across All Three Baltic States with Wind-Plus-Storage Projects

Following successful deployments in Lithuania and Estonia, HyperStrong has recently secured another 60 MWh energy storage project in Lithuania. The project will deploy HyperBlock III energy storage system, supporting renewable energy integration and optimizing the local energy mix.

In addition, HyperStrong has signed a 200 MWh energy storage project with the Latvia's national grid operator, representing a major milestone in the region. With this project, HyperStrong now operates across all three Baltic states — Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Central and Eastern Europe & the Balkans: Breakthrough in Hundred-MWh Projects across Diverse Applications

HyperStrong has also made significant progress in Central and Eastern Europe, entering a new phase of hundred-MWh-scale energy storage projects.

In Bulgaria, HyperStrong has signed contracts for two 100 MWh energy storage projects, supplying HyperBlock III energy storage systems along with core equipment such as medium-voltage substations (MVPS). The projects will support peak-valley electricity arbitrage and frequency regulation services, marking HyperStrong’s first hundred-MWh-level projects in the Balkan region.

In Hungary, HyperStrong has signed the Phase I Tapolca project with a capacity of 140 MWh. As the company’s first project in the Hungarian market, this PV-plus-storage project will support the stable integration of renewable energy into the local grid.

Meanwhile, HyperStrong has secured its first energy storage project in Croatia and is also delivering commercial and industrial energy storage solutions in Croatia and Slovenia. These projects will deploy the company’s latest-generation HyperCubeC&I liquid-cooling outdoor cabinets, demonstrating HyperStrong’s capability to support  a wide range of application scenarios across the region.

Southern and Northern Europe: Entering New Markets and Expanding Regional Presence

HyperStrong is expanding into new European markets.

In Southern Europe, the company has secured its first project in Italy — a 10 MWh energy storage project, marking a successful entry into the market.

In Northern Europe, a newly signed 525 MWh energy storage project in Finland will bring HyperStrong’s total contracted capacity in the country to more than 1.2 GWh, further solidifying its  position in the Nordic energy storage market.

From core markets to emerging regions, and from utility-scale to commercial and industrial applications, HyperStrong is becoming an increasingly important player in Europe’s evolving energy storage landscape.

With projects now spanning 15 countries, HyperStrong continues to deliver advanced energy storage solutions that support the transition toward a cleaner, more resilient, and sustainable energy system.

Looking ahead, HyperStrong will continue expanding its global energy storage business and contribute to the transition of the global energy sector through innovative technologies and integrated solutions.
